HASH
MARK
This is the basic hash mark. You will see this through out a trail. Traditionally
if you see three hash marks in a row you are on trail. But beware the hares.
They can be a despicable bunch. |
TRUE TRAIL
If you see this mark you know you are definitely on the right track |
|
|
|
CHECK
These are two possible marks signifying a check. When you find one of these on
trail the trail can pick up in any direction for that point. The hare will normally
place one or more false trails from this point and the one true trail. |
T*TTY CHECK
If you are the first males to find this check, you must wait for the females to
arrive. Females have the option of either finding the true trail on their own, or
they can flash the pack and at that point the males can assist them in finding the true
trail. |

WHICH WAY
If you see this mark on trail the trail may pick up in one of two directions designated
by the arrows. Again, beware the false trail ;-) |
This which way is seen when there are
two true trails. One is a Manly trail, or a
trail for runners and those who can go through the rough terrain. The other is the Wuz trail, for those who will
walk the trail. |

|
ON BACK
This mark is seen at the end of a false trail. Just turn around and head back to
the last CHECK or WHICH WAY. |
YOU'VE BEEN F*CKED
Just like this sounds. You normally find it at the end of an especially long
false trail. You can thank those diabolical hares for this ;-) |

BEER NEAR
This sign is one of the most sought after on trail. It signifies that there is a
beer stop nearby. |
ON HOME
This mark is seen close to the end point of the hash. Now you can enjoy the
social aspects of beer and song. |
